This soup is one of the hidden jewels of Mexican Cuisine. Golden chicken broth tinged with tomatoes and the mellow heat of toasted chiles make the perfect base for the garnishes that make this soup unique: crispy tortilla strips, diced avocado, little bit of cilantro, a dollop of sour cream and small cubes of Queso Fresco come together for a satisfying experience that you won’t regret! $6.95

PORK

 

1.  Carne Enchilada

Thin steaks of boneless pork loin are marinated overnight and then slow cooked until falling apart tender. Our Carne Enchilada marinade blends the flavors of mild Guajillo pepper, garlic, oregano and the tastiest chorizo in this traditional pork dish. Served with grilled onions, refried black beans, mexican-style rice and handmade corn tortillas. $14.95

 

3. Cochinita Pibil

From Yucatan. Chunks of lean pork marinated in Achiote, orange juice, onion, garlic and a little cinnamon. Baked until falling-apart tender. Served with pickled red onions, re-fried black beans, rice and hand-made tortillas. Get ready to love this dish. $14.95 

 

5. Asado de Bodas

From Durango state in the northern parts of Mexico. This classic wedding dish is very well known. Prepared from lean pork meat. Baked with tomatillos, oranges, chocolate and various herbs like basil, cumin, oregano, garlic and a hint of Chile just for color and flavor. It is served in small pieces with a delicious sauce. Served with mexican-style rice & hand-made tortillas. $14.95

 

6. Pork in Salsa Verde

Chunks of lean pork cooked low until tender. A little fresh garlic, white onion, plenty of tomatillos, bay leaves, jalapeno pepper, little bit of cumin and cilantro. You have to try it to believe it! 2.  Chicken in Molé

Boneless chicken breast cooked in our soon-to-be-famous vegetarian Molé sauce. Our delicious Molé sauce is made from Ancho, Guajillo and Pasilla Peppers and other spices like cloves, cinnamon, chocolate, almonds, garlic, cumin and too many others to mention. Served with beans, rice and hand-made corn tortillas.            $16.95

4. Chile Relleno                                                                                    

Chile Relleno -or Stuffed Chile- is one of the most emblematic dishes in Mexican Cuisine: Fresh roasted Poblano Pepper (a mild pepper named after the city of Puebla) is stuffed with melted muenster cheese, dipped in egg and baked. Served covered with our tasty Grandmother's Tomato Sauce and refried beans, mexican styles rice and hand-made corn tortillas on the side. $16.95

First we marinate our Top Round Beef  in a special mexican steak sauce (not spicy). We char-grill it and then top it with grilled white onions. Black refried beans, mexican style rice and hand-made corn tortillas complete this staple in mexican cuisine. $14.95

Picaditas are slightly thicker soft corn tortillas which are lightly fried and topped with your one choice of meat for both picaditas: Chorizo, Steak, Shredded Chicken or Vegetarian. The tortilla is topped with refried beans and your choice of meat, fresh lettuce, tomato, Chipilo Sour Cream & Cotija Cheese. 2 per order. $12.95

ENCHILADAS

 

10. Enchiladas Oaxaqueñas

First we make a tasty creamy bean sauce using black organic beans, melted Oaxaca cheese and a little bit of onion; we then dip a soft tortilla in it, add shredded chicken and roll it up. We finally top it with more bean sauce, shredded lettuce and Cotija Cheese. Served mexican style rice on the side. Delicioso! $12.95

There are two tacos. First we marinate our steak in a special mexican steak sauce (not spicy). We char-grill it and then chop it into small pieces. We wrap it in soft corn tortillas and add a little white onion and fresh cilantro. For an extra sensorial experience, ask your server to add melted munster cheese for a $1.50. Served with re-fried beans and mexican style rice.  Two tacos per order. $12.95

 

9. Tacos de Carne Enchilada

Marinated pork loin char-grilled and hand chopped into small bite size pieces wrapped in soft corn tortillas with a little white onion and fresh cilantro. Served with re-fried beans and mexican style rice.  $12.95

 

12. Flautas de Pollo - Crunchy Chicken Tacos)                                 

Fried corn tortilla chicken tacos, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, Chipilo Sour Cream and Cotija Cheese. Served with re-fried beans and mexican style rice. $12.95

To Drink & Dessert

 

Agua de Jamaica: An Iced-tea made from the flowers of the Hibiscus plant. Served over ice. Caffeine-free.

Horchata: A traditional sweet-rice based drink served with ice, vanilla and a little cinnamon.
